SMOKING POLICY
THE LUMADA IS A NON SMOKING HOTEL if found smoking anywhere on the Premises a £50.00 charge will be added to your bill, for the cleaning of your room, and then you will be asked to leave the Premises. Also, under the new laws, we can call the police at any time.

DRUGS
If anyone thinks that there are any illegal drugs on our premises being used, please contact Wendy

FOOD & ALCOHOL
must not be brought into the bedrooms, you may eat in the bar area provided, at anytime.

ROOMS ARE FOR PAYING GUESTS ONLY; you are being charged by a nightly rate per person and not on a room rate.

If this rule is not adhered to, then guests will be asked to leave immediately NO refund will be given under these circumstances.

ARRIVAL TIME if your room/s are ready you may go straight into them.

Rooms to be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure, so they can be cleaned for our next guests, an hourly rate maybe charged.

Guests are asked to pay upon their arrival please.

If paying by cheque, please pay 20 days before your arrival so it gives the cheque time to clear at the bank.

All cheques must be made payable to THE LUMADA

No cheques will be accepted on the day. Deposits paid are non refundable.

 

CONDITIONS OF CAR PARK
PLEASE REPORT TO THE FRONT RECEPTION BEFORE PARKING

You need to book your car in, as we will put your room number on your car key ring.

THE CAR PARK HAS A 24 HOUR CTV RECORDING CAMERA

CAR PARKING IS ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS

If you have a disable badge, it will help, as you can park on the road for as long as you like.

All cars ARE left at owner’s own risk.

CAR KEYS must be handed in on arrival at reception; if you refuse then we will ask you to remove your car from the car park.

Cars, which are blocked in on the car park by others, will not be able to be moved until 9.45am or after breakfasts have finished.

Guest’s cars must be removed from The Lumada car park by 10.30 am on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed with the proprietors.

All damages must be reported. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you may cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages under (£10) but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage is significant, and we may make an additional charge if you did not report this.

CHILDREN MUST NOT PLAY ON THE STAIRS, PLEASE CONSIDER THE OTHER GUESTS THAT ARE RESTING.

PARENTS NOTE CHILDREN MUST NOT JUMP OFF BUNKS BEDS, PLEASE THINK OF THE OTHER GUESTS BELOW RESTING, THE LUMADA WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURIES CAUSED BY DOING SO

PERSONAL ITEMS AND EFFECTS

The proprietor cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal items/effects.

KEYS MUST BE HANDED IN AT RECEPTION ON DAY OF DEPARTURE

Failure to follow this request will result in a charge being levied.

Breakfast is served from    8.30am to 9-30am. (If required any earlier please let us know)

All dietary needs can be catered for but please let us know before your arrival to avoid disappointment.

UNRULY BEHAVIOUR & CAUSING A DISTURBANCE

The proprietors reserve the right to amend, curtail or end any contact should the conduct of any person who is any part of that contract cause any detriment to the well being and comfort of other guests. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE

CANCELLATION & CURTAILMENT POLICY

CANCELLATIONS SHOULD BE PUT IN WRITING TO THE LUMADA, NO LATER THAN 28 DAYS BEFORE YOUR DUE DATE.

In case of any cancellation or curtailment, should the accommodation not be re-let, the person whose name and address appears on the front of the deposit advice receipt form, will be liable to pay for TWO THIRDS of the total cost/s as per the reservation/s. (This makes an allowance taking off for food and services). Deposits are non-refundable but will be deductible from any claim for compensation arising out of any cancellation or curtailment of the contact. If a guest cuts short their stay, then full payment will still have to be paid in full.

Have you taken out your Holiday Insurance?  If two people sharing a room and one cancel’s a supplement will be added on to that room and must be paid on arrival.  If a deposit using a debit/credit card authorised account number, then any payment due, owing to cancellation will a be made on this same account number by the proprietor.
